Our principal and staff

Our school is a supportive community that fosters high expectations, values diversity and celebrates individual strengths. We collaborate to build strong relationships and ensure that every student receives the help they need to thrive.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to our school, which is a safe and supportive environment for every child to experience success in. We have high expectations for holistic student growth and we are committed to ensuring all students make progress academically, socially and emotionally.

Relationships are at the centre of our school because of their importance in supporting student outcomes. They are key to a successful, collaborative and inclusive school. Our dedicated staff build positive relationships with students to establish warm and caring learning spaces. We aim to build strong partnerships with our families and to make connections beyond the school, to build a network of support for the school community.

We have a strong learning culture and we focus on strengthening our school culture because we know how important it is to school improvement and student success.

Professional learning for all staff aims to improve knowledge, skills and practice. We have a plan for continuous professional development aligned to our School Excellence Plan priorities. We are committed to ensuring our teaching, learning, wellbeing and leadership practices are aligned to evidence and research. We leave nothing to chance. Strong processes of evaluation ensure everything we do, has the desired impact.

We look forward to having a strong partnership with you too, built on mutual respect and trust, to support the entire community here at Granville Public School.

Anne Davis, Principal of Granville Public School
